Recently, PBL participated in the annual Monster Mash event, a safe alternative to trick-or-treating for elementary school children in New Brunswick, Piscataway, Highland Park, and other nearby areas. Various student organizations set up activities tables for the young visitors and reward their efforts with treats. PBL’s table consisted of a “Pin the nose on the pumpkin” game, where kids would try their best to aim for the nose on the pumpkin. These individuals were rewarded two pieces of candy if they succeeded and one piece of candy for participating.  It was a very exciting time to bring PBL and the New Brunswick community together on a night of Halloween celebration!

Even though your resume and GPA are important, networking is key for future success. Take every chance you have to meet and connect with professionals and maintain these relationships. For securing jobs and internships, it’s all about who you know!

For many of the PBL members, NFLC serves as a convenient and affordable way to experience much of the education and excitement of an NLC closer to home.
