Matt Peyrek is currently a senior and is entering his second term as President of Rutgers Phi Beta Lambda. This is his eighth year involved with FBLA-PBL and he remains a volunteer with the state office and assists the FBLA state officers and their SLC. Outside of PBL, Matt is an active member of many other organizations including the RIOT Squad & Personal Finance Club. He serves as an assembly member of the Rutgers Business Governing Association and Secretary-General of the Dean’s Council. As President, Matt hopes to assist his fellow E-Board Members in promoting the club and attracting new members while simultaneously improving connections with Rutgers, the Business School, other professional clubs, and employers. He is excited for a productive and exciting year and encourages anyone interested to come out to our general meetings or contact the PBL Executive Board.

Matthew is currently the Internal Vice President of Rutgers FBLA-PBL. Last year, he was the External Vice President as well as a member of the Public Relations and Events Committee. As an accounting student, Matthew truly believes that in order to be successful, the PBL mission of innovative leadership is essential. He is also a really big New York Mets, Jets and Knicks fan.

Chelsea is a sophomore, double majoring in Political Science and Economics with a minor in Philosophy on the pre-law track enrolled in the Honors College through the School of Arts and Sciences. It is her 6th year as part of the FBLA-PBL organization, having been majorly involved in FBLA previously. Chelsea’s goal to expand Rutgers PBL to accommodate all majors and schools in Rutgers and grow the organization as a family. As the VPE, she hopes to create a warm, familial bond between members and expand the outreach of PBL. Outside of PBL, she is a Scarlet Ambassador, a promotions team member of WRSU 88.7, an assembly member of the Rutgers Economic Society, and a Rutgers Future Scholar. In her downtime, Chelsea likes to play the piano and video games.

As someone who enjoys meeting new people and listening to the opinions of others, Richard hopes to bring the club closer together and facilitate the coordination of each event this year. He loves meeting and talking to new members (so hit him up for any advice!). He also enjoys having a good laugh with people and learning about the stock market.

As a RBS student majoring in Finance and BAIT, Niki believes that being in FBLA/PBL has allowed to her to branch out and hone in her business skills. As Treasurer of the 2018-2019 school year, Niki hopes to further those skills while also being a friend and mentor to general members in the club and her fellow board members. Outside of PBL, she is involved with the Rutgers Tennis Team, LIBOR, and Rutgers Red Cross.

James has been participating in FBLA-PBL since freshman year of high school. He keeps coming back because he believes that FBLA-PBL is great at giving students a chance to develop their soft skills and foundation. Other than FBLA-PBL, James is passionate about public speaking in Toastmasters and starting a new sport at Rutgers called Nitroball.

Breanna Schad is the 2018-2019 event coordinator for FBLA-PBL. This year she hopes to expand the events planning committee and make Dining with the Distinguished even more successful. She can’t wait to co-lead her committee with Chelsea, the VPE, and to grow FBLA-PBL in new directions. She’s also currently involved in RAPS, RHA, and HC Ambassadors. In her free time, she plays video games, watches sports, and reads Harry Potter.

Kevin has participated in FBLA/PBL for over 5 years, starting his sophomore year of high school. As Historian, he hopes to bring an abundance of photos to PBL this year to showcase all the great work the club does. On campus, he is a part of RUSCA and has competed in multiple Hackathons. In his spare time, he loves playing the guitar, reading, and watching Mad Men.

Shreya is a sophomore, majoring in Finance and minoring in Economics. This is her second year being involved with FBLA-PBL. After being part of PBL for a year, Shreya hopes to raise funds for the organization so that PBL members are able to take part in more activities and more events. She is also the State Membership director for the NJ PBL. Apart from this organization, Shreya is a part of LIBOR, UNICEF, and RUWIB and is also a LEx leader for the Leadership and Experiential Learning Department.

Sunny Feng is currently a junior in the School of Engineering double majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science. She was the previous Webmaster, leading the Webmaster-Historian Committee. Sunny is excited to lead the Community Service Committee as the Community Service Chair this year. Outside of FBLA-PBL, Sunny enjoys skiing and designing mobile applications.

Amy has been involved in FBLA-PBL since freshman year of high school. In junior year, she placed 3rd in the country for FBLA’s Accounting I event. This year, she hopes to help other PBL members take advantage of all the opportunities the club has to offer. Outside of PBL, Amy is a Mentor in Residence and on the Professional Development Board of the Honors College. She is also an Honors College Ambassador and a member of LIBOR.
